The Zen Gateway is an on-line magazine or e-zine for anyone practicing or just interested in Chan/Zen Buddhism.
Our aim is to promote the understanding, education and practice of Zen Buddhism in modern everyday life. To accomplish this aim we feature quality articles on the Buddhist teachings and practice, particularly from the Chan/Zen schools, and provide resources and information for groups and individuals following a Buddhist practice.
All items found under the 'What is Zen?' tab on the top menu, are quality controlled by the site administrators and the Zen Gateway Advisory Board. This means that in our view these articles present genuine Dharma from reliable sources.
We will also feature other articles which we think will be of value and interest to our readership. These articles will cover areas such as science, medicine, the arts, culture, events, news items and reviews. These articles may represent views that belong to individuals and may not strictly be classed as traditional Zen teaching (Dharma). The reader’s discretion is advised. These articles will be found under the 'E-zine sections' also on the top menu.
